On October 11, 2010, Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi held talks with Mexican Secretary of Foreign Relations Patricia Espinosa Cantellano, who is here in China for a working visit. Both sides exchanged in-depth views on bilateral ties as well as international and regional issues of common concern.
Yang said recent years have witnessed smooth development of bilateral strategic partnership. Both sides have deepened political mutual trust and strengthened exchanges between their legislatures, governments, political parties and localities with sound operation of economic, trade, cultural, education, scientific and technological cooperation mechanisms.
