On October 4 and 5, 2010, Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi, who was accompanying Premier Wen Jiabao to attend the eighth Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM), met respectively with Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini and French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner in Brussels, exchanging views on bilateral ties, high-level exchanges and international and regional issues of common concern. The three foreign ministers expressed satisfaction with the development of China-Italy, China-France relations.
