Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi Sends Congratulations to Kim Sung-hwan on His Assuming the Office of ROK Foreign Minister

On October 8, 2010, Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi sent a congratulatory message to Kim Sung-hwan on his assuming the office of ROK Foreign Minister.

Yang in his message extended sincere congratulations to Kim on his assuming the office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Korea (ROK). He said currently China-ROK relations have been developing very well with fruitful exchanges and cooperation in all areas. Yang said he is ready to work closely with his ROK counterpart to push forward China-ROK strategic cooperative partnership for the benefit of both countries and their peoples. He also extended welcome for Kim to visit China at a time convenient to both sides.
