On November 29, 2013, Vice Foreign Minister Zhai Jun attended the reception marking the 42th anniversary of National Day hosted by the Embassy of United Arab Emirates（UAE）in China upon invitation, and exchanged views with the UAE Ambassador to China Omar Ahmed Albitar on bilateral relations and issues of common concern.
