On May 7, 2010, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met at the Great Hall of the People with foreign delegates to the International Cooperation Conference on Green Economy and Climate Change, exchanging views with them on issues of common concern in a friendly and pragmatic atmosphere.

During the meeting, Wen elaborated to the foreign guests on China's policy and measures to tackle climate change, as well as the next-phase working plan. He said all countries in the world should strengthen their political resolve to tackle climate change. "We should promote consensus and increase coordination," Wen said.
