On the afternoon of May 1, 2010, Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi held talks respectively with Ms Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission and Dr. Thongloun Sisoulith, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Lao PDR in Shanghai.
