On August 14th, Ambassador Wang Wenli attended a donation ceremony to hand over cash and material assistance to the Presidency of Timor-Leste. Witnessed by H.E. President Hose J. Ramos-Horta, Ambassador Wang and Chief of Staff of the Presidency Ms. Henriqueta Maria da Silva signed the donation agreement and exchanged documents. This donation includes cash and material supplies, which will be respectively used to establish an education fund for underprivileged students and to improve living conditions for vulnerable communities in the mountainous areas of Timor-Leste.

President Horta expressed that this donation project once again demonstrates the deep friendship between China and Timor-Leste. He noted that the education fund will significantly assist underprivileged students in completing their studies, and the material supplies will be distributed to people living in the mountainous areas.
