On March 19, Mr. Xu Xingqiang, Minister-Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Timor-Leste, met with Mr. Orlando Gomes, Commander of the Dili District Police Station. The two sides held in-depth discussions on strengthening law enforcement cooperation, implementing the tripartite meeting mechanism, and further safeguarding the legal rights and interests of Chinese Enterprises and Overseas Chinese in Timor-Leste.

On the afternoon of March 17, the Embassy sent staff to visit Chinese businesses in the Tasi-Tolu area, Dili, learning about their operations and security conditions and reminding them to strengthen security precautions.
