On 5 November 2013, Song Tao, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Secretary General of China-CEE Cooperation Secretariat, met with National Coordinator of Bulgaria for China-CEE Cooperation Georgi Peychinov.
Song Tao expressed that China-CEE cooperation is an important platform for strengthening China's relations with 16 Central and Eastern European countries. China appreciates Bulgaria for actively joining in the cooperation and is ready to work with the Bulgarian side to push for in-depth development of the cooperation.
Peychinov expressed that Bulgaria attaches great importance to China-CEE cooperation and hopes, within the framework of the cooperation, to strengthen cooperation with China in the fields of infrastructure construction, agriculture, education and finance.
