On 11 October 2013, Vice Foreign Minister Zhai Jun at invitation attended the reception of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in China in celebration of the 53rd anniversary of the founding of Nigeria. He also exchanged views with Charge D'affaires of the Nigerian Embassy in China Patrick O. Onadipe on bilateral relations and other issues.
