Assistant Foreign Minister Cheng Guoping Holds Consultations with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Borodavkin

On March 9, 2011, Assistant Foreign Minister Cheng Guoping held consultations in the Foreign Ministry with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexei Borodavkin. Both sides exchanged views on bilateral high-level exchanges this year, the SCO cooperation as well as promoting security cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region. They pledged to work together to actively implement the consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries on comprehensively deepening China-Russia strategic cooperative partnership in a bid to push for sustained, sound and stable development of bilateral ties.
