On February 3, 2011, Serbian President Boris Tadic sent a message to President Hu Jintao for the Chinese Lunar New Year, wishing China continued prosperity and its people happiness, peace and health. He also wished that China-Serbia relations would be deepened in the new year. Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic and Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic also sent Spring Festival messages to Premier Wen Jiabao and Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi respectively.
