On February 3, 2011, Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor sent a message to Premier Wen Jiabao, extending best wishes to the Chinese people for the Lunar New Year. He expressed willingness to work with the Chinese side to push for further progress of bilateral ties and bring benefit to both peoples. Croatian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandroković also sent a Spring Festival message to Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi.
