On April 2, 2009, Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Zhai Jun met in the Foreign Ministry with French Ambassador to China Hervé Ladsous. Both sides exchanged views on such African hot issues as Sudan’s Darfur, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Madagascar, as well as Iran’s nuclear issue, China-France consultation on Africa and other issues of common concern.
