On July 30th, 2019, H.E. Dr. Xiao Jianguo, Ambassador of China to Timor-Leste met with H.E. Mr. José Agostinho da Silva, Minister of Transport and Communications of Timor-Leste. Mr. José Agostinho da Silva thanked China for its long-term support and assistance to the economic and social development of Timor-Leste. Both sides agreed to strengthen cooperation in areas of transport, civil aviation and communications, so as to further promote bilateral relations between China and Timor-Leste.
