On July 29th, 2019, H.E. Dr. Xiao Jianguo, Ambassador of China to Timor-Leste, met in Dili with H.E. Mr. Bendito Freitas, Ambassador of Timor-Leste to China. Both sides agreed to improve communications and cooperation between two Embassies, to give full play to the roles of the embassies and make positive contributions to strengthening practical cooperation in various areas between China and Timor-Leste under the framework of Belt & Road Initiative.
