Your Excellency Minister Abel Pires da Silva

Your Excellency Chairman Paulo da Silva,

Membersof TBEA,

ladies and gentlemen! Good afternoon, Boa tarde!

It is a great honor to participate in the handover ceremony. Congratulations on the successful completion of the project! Thanks to TBEA for your hard work! Thanks to Ministry of Public Works and EDTL.E.P. for your strong support!

TBEA is the vanguard of China's national high-tech and large-scale energy equipment manufacturing enterprise group. The successful fulfillment of the contract in only 6 months reflects the high standard and high level of "Made in China", and interprets the Chinese style of keeping promises, being efficient and pragmatic.

Timor-Leste has been troubled by power shortages and blackouts for a long time. Chinese companies have long been committed to enhancing and improving Timor leste's power supply capacity. I believe that the Camea substation project will effectively alleviate the power shortage and frequent power outages in Dili City and help the economic development of Timor-Leste.

Infrastructure construction is an important area of cooperation between China and Timor-Leste in joint building the "Belt and Road". Up to now, nearly 20 Chinese companies have carried out all kinds of projects in Timor leste, such as road construction, waterway irrigation, municipal engineering, national power grid, and port construction. Chinese companies provide high-quality and efficient services at competitive prices, so that Timor-Leste can spend less and do more. In the process of undertaking projects, Chinese enterprises have also created thousands of local jobs and improve the living condition of local people.

The just-concluded ASEAN summit adopted a roadmap for Timor-Leste to join ASEAN. More and better infrastructure is a necessary condition for Timor-Leste to join ASEAN and the future development. China is willing to work together with the Timorese people to improve the level of infrastructure in Timor leste. I also look forward to the greater stage of China-ASEAN cooperation, and the bilateral relation and friendship between China and Timor-Leste will be further improved!

Thank you! Obrigadu!
