In order to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Timor-Leste, the Chinese Embassy in Timor-Leste is going to hold a Logo design contest.

1.Theme

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Sino-Timorese diplomatic relations, the contest aims at showing the comprehensive partnership of good-neighborliness, mutual trust and mutual benefit between China and Timor-Leste.

2. Participants

This contest is open to all Chinese and Timorese. You can participate individually or in groups.

3. Requirements

(1) The entries must be original and plagiarism is strictly prohibited.

(2) Obvious Chinese and Timorese elements are necessary.

(3) The number 20 should be included.

(4) The logo should be designed in graphic form with the introduction of design concept in Chinese or English. 

(5) The resolution should be more than 300PPI, the file size should be less than 5MB and the file format should be PNG or JPEG.

4. Submission

(1) The entries shall be submitted electronically to designated email: tlchinaconsul@gmail.com.

(2) Please mark the subject of the email for submission. The title or body should leave the information of the name, organization and contact number of the author.

(3) Deadline of submission: from the date of this notice to March 10, 2022.

5. Selection

In line with the principle of "fairness, impartiality and openness", the Chinese Embassy in Timor-Leste will evaluate the entries. Results will be announced in mid-March.

6. Awards

According to final submitted entries, 1 winning work and 3 outstanding works will be selected for reward and certificate.  The copyright of the winning and outstanding works belongs to the Chinese Embassy in Timor-Leste. The winning work will be used in activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Sino-Timorese diplomatic relations.

7. Others

Entries that violate the requirements of this Notification (such as irrelevant topics, late submission, etc.) are ineligible to participate. The Embassy reserves the right of final interpretation and all other relevant legal rights.
