From March 15th, 2023, Chinawill adjust the visa policy for foreign nationals to visit China as follows:

1. Foreign nationals with valid visas that were issued before March 28th, 2020 are allowed to enter China.

2. Foreign nationals are allowed to apply for all types of visas, including visas for tourism and medical purposes.

3. Foreign nationals with legal reasons to enter China are allowed to apply for port visas from port visa offices.

4. Reinstate the visa-free entry policy for foreigners traveling to Hainan, Shanghai by cruise, Guangdong as part of a group tour from Hong Kong or Macao, and Guilin in Guangxi province for ASEAN tourist groups.
