Notice of Providing Convenience for Visa Applicants Inoculated with COVID-19 Vaccines Made in China to Visit China

In order to resume people-to-people exchanges between China and Timor-Leste in an orderly manner, since March 15, 2021, the Chinese Embassy in Timor-Leste will provide the following facilities for visa applicants who have been inoculated with the COVID-19 vaccines made in China and hold vaccination certificates:

1. Personnel and their families who enter China to engage in resuming economic activities in various fields can prepare materials and submit applications in accordance with the requirements before the COVID-19 pandemic.

2. Expand moderately the scope of visa issuance for people visiting China for "urgent humanitarian purposes". 

Suitable applicants: foreign family members of Chinese citizens or permanent residents of China, including spouses, parents, children and other close relatives living together (such as brothers and sisters, grandparents, grandchildren). 

Reasons for visiting China: family reunion, supporting parents, visiting relatives, going to China for funerals or visiting critically ill relatives. Those who meet the above requirements can submit applications to the Embassy.

3. The requirements that people taking flight from Timor-Leste to China must hold the certificates of negative nucleic acid and serum anti-body test results remain unchanged. After entering China, please observe the relevant regulations of the Chinese side on quarantine.
